For my 妹妹 - Learn To Be Happy

How and why do our life experiences affect the way we think and feel, how we become sad or happy?

Are human beings born to be miserable?

No - We are born to evolve through experiences. We are born to learn through life experiences. There is no doubt that we all have a big variety of situations or experiences during our existence that we allow to affect the way we think and therefore the way we feel. There are people, objects and intangibles things that we meet and they become part of our life and therefore our life experiences.

We all make choices, every day, every moment. The reason we are happy or unhappy is not our experiences but the way we deal with our experiences; what we think about them, therefore the attitude we take to deal with them. Everything we do either makes us successful or unsuccessful, moves us forward or backward.

Being miserable or happy is a matter of choice. This choice has to do with the attitude each of us has. Things are the way they are, they cannot be otherwise. The problem starts when we label our experiences with our own attitude. Our attitude is the outcome of how we feel and how we will respond. Sadly and ironically, many of us build such an attitude that instead of solving the problems we already have, we create even more problems.

So, what we can do to be happy? How can move forward instead of backward?First we have to consider cause and effect. Our mind stores our experiences as thoughts, thoughts create feelings or emotions, and what we feel is the way we act. Our attitude is a reaction to our thoughts, feelings and actions. It is positive or negative based not on what we think, but how we think, and how we think is related to our level of awareness.

So, the roots of our emotions are in our thoughts; how we think about things. When we have negative thoughts, we are creating unhappiness in our lives and if it's something that we don't want for our life, it is time to take control and put our brain to work to form a new attitude by creating new positive thoughts.

You will only be happy, move forward, be the champion you are meant to be when you are honest and take action. Start to motivate your mind with positive thoughts. Start with thoughts of love, optimism, and creativity. Start by appreciating and valuing every second of life, everything you are and have, and become passionate about everything you do.

Regardless of what happens, paint your life, daily, with a smile in everything you experience. The more you do this, the happier you will become.

Move with the flow. Things are the way they are, they cannot be otherwise. If you row in the direction the river is flowing, its energy assists you. But, if you row against the river's flow, it is only a matter of time before you become exhausted, overwhelmed and defeated.

It is important to be clear; to understand that happiness is not dependent on the outside world. Nobody can make you happy or unhappy. You take charge of your life. You and only you have the power to control the way you feel. When your desire to be happy becomes as strong as the need to breathe, you will be happy. If you want to be happy, make happiness part of your daily thoughts, emotions and actions.

常常在台湾的综艺节目听到萧煌奇的一首歌 - 《阿嬷的话》。

这首歌唱着他对阿嬷的思念。

阿嬷去世的比较早，大概是我8岁的时候吧。

阿公却是在10年前过世的。

可能是我从小就是被阿公阿嬷带大的，

跟他们生活在一个屋檐下好多好多年，

所以对他们的印象是非常深刻。

和萧煌奇不同的是，每一次听都会让我想起阿公和阿嬷。

常常会想起。。。

带我上学的模样，准备食物到学校的模样，

等我放学的模样，教训我的模样，

买糖果疼我的模样，准备三餐的模样，

喜怒哀乐的模样，生病的模样，

住在医院的模样，安祥去世的模样，

所有的一切都不曾忘记过。

如果他们还在，会不会也像这首歌唱的一样

“为我的成功骄傲” 呢？

我也像萧煌奇对阿公和阿嬷说：

“希望后世人阮搁会冻来乎你疼，作你永远的孙仔,

搁叫你一声阿公，阿嬷”

I am sick

Last Thrusday, I headed Jurong Island for my training.

Reached the Island at about 8am.

The moment the taxi entered the island,

I can smell something strong and pundgent. It smelt horrible.

Taxi driver told me that's the typical Jurong Island

smell - chemical, gases & pollution.

He also mentioned that lucky it was raining, if not the smell will be worse.

By the evening, I started coughing and my throat burns!

At about 9pm, I cannot take the burning sensation anymore.

I went opposite my flat to visit Doc James Quek.

He prescribed me some antibiotics, sore throat pills & cough syrup.

Took my drugs diligently after getting home and went to sleep.

I went back to Jurong Island for my 2nd day of my 2-day training.

There's a test to take and I did not want to miss it.

This time round, the same smell started way before I enter the island.

It come on much stronger and smell many times worse.

What the taxi driver said yesterday was really right!

By Sat & Sun, my coughing worsen.

I coughed through the night.

I coughed so hard that my chest ache and I got breathless.

Could not sleep well at night due to the cough too.

Yesterday, went back to the Dr. James Quek.

He said I had mild asthma.

On the road of recovery - I'm coughing lesser, throat feeling less painful.

Still feeling breathless.

Asthma came back to haunt me once again after 15 years.

I hope this is the last time.

It makes me feel like a weakling!

(1) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying...Go to Hell

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

这个世界其实很简单，只是人心很复杂。

其实人心也很简单，只是利益分配很复杂。

人与人之间的关系很简单，由于利益分配很复杂才有了尔虞我诈，

才有了勾心斗角。纷繁的尘世其实也很简单，由于人类情感很复杂

才有了离合聚散。

人生之简单，是生命长卷中的几笔线条，有着疏疏朗朗的淡泊；

是生命意境中的一轮薄月，有着清清凉凉的宁静。

人生之复杂，是泼洒在生命宣纸上的墨迹，渲染着城府与世故；

是拉响在生命深处的咿咿呀呀的胡琴，

挥不去嘈杂与迷惘。

天地有大美，于简单处得；人生有大疲惫，在复杂处藏。

生活中常有大情趣，一定是日子过得很简单；

人，一简单就快乐，但快乐的人寥寥无几；一复杂就痛苦，

一眼望到底的，似乎很简单。一口百年古井，幽深，澄澈，

也可以一望到底，但这口古井，本身却并不简单。人也一样。

有时候，一个人可以一眼望到底，并不是因为他太过简单，

不够深刻，而是他太过纯净。一个人，有至纯的灵魂，

原本就是一种撼人心魄的深刻。

这样的简单，让人敬仰。

有的人云山雾罩，看起来很复杂，很有深度。其实，这种深度，

是城府的深度，而不是灵魂的深度。

这种复杂，是险恶人性的交错，而不是曼妙智慧的叠加。

人生，说到最后，简单得只有生死两个字，

但由于有了命运的浮沉，由于有了人世的冷暖，

上星期五，背包包的时候扭伤了。

一直忍着痛直到昨天才上门找医师“修理”。

首先扎五针，然后推拿。

太痛了，所以没照相。

最后是包扎。

医师有给口服，和外敷的药。

唉！星期一还要回去复诊。：（

起诉人：

我要控告公猴蓄意伤人罪。

在10月17日，早上11点左右，我们和两位朋友在远足的途中和公猴一家碰

面。母猴正在为公猴抓嗣子。小猴就在附近跳来跳去。

老公走向小猴面前，没有恶意的和它照相。小猴不知何故，突然从围栏上跳

在老公身上。老公好意想把小猴放回围栏上。

公猴见状后，发狂的攻击老公。首先在老公的左脚下狠狠地咬了一口，

然后爬上老公的左脚大腿后侧在咬了一口。

在这个时候，公猴见老公没有反击，

才肯结束所有的攻击行动。

当我的两位朋友会过神来，发现老公左腿有鲜血不断的喷出来时，才知道老

公受了伤。本以为只是普通的抓伤，擦看之下看见老公腿上的上一点都

不轻。我当场吓傻了。老公腿上一共有三道很深的伤痕。三道伤痕都在不停

的流血。

幸好朋友是受过训的急救人员。

他当机立断的拿了我和他的毛巾绑在伤口上，

试着帮老公止血。而我就跑到附近的屋子求救。有一对好心的英国夫妇

不但帮我问打电话叫救护车，还让我们把老公带进屋子边休息边等救护车

来。他们还倒水喝拿巧克力给老公吃，怕他流血过多晕倒。

救护车姗姗来迟。我们等了45分钟才见救护车的踪影。天啊！救护车还一度

开往错的地址。救护员连忙为老公抢救和止血，然后送往亚历山大医院。

我们在11.45am到达医院。左等右等，等了又等，在大约1.00pm，

终于才把老公送往x-ray室和打针防破伤风。

过后医生才来为老公清洗老公腿上的伤和缝针。

老公腿上一共有13cm (5cm, 5cm 和 3cm)，缝了18针。

法官：

陪审团慎重的考虑后，一直裁决公猴蓄意伤人罪成立。

本官在此判公猴死刑。

庭警即可把公猴送往法场立即枪决！

受害者，证人和起诉人：

活该！罪有应得！

今天突然感触好深。我觉得我活得好累！

但又说不出是什么理由或原因。

我就是觉得累。I guess I’m mentally exhausted 。

回头看看我这几十年的生活 – 有起当然也有落。

快乐多一点呢？还是忧愁多一点呢？

应该是40%快乐60%忧愁吧。

这是我的性格造成的吧。

我会比较多愁伤感，都往最坏的一面看。

我对自己的要求也很高。

只要达不到我的标准，我就会不满意。

人只能活一次！既然只能活一次，

我是不是应该重新编册我的“活法”。

不让自己活得太累，不然自己去折磨自己呢？

活的太累其实是心累。人生又哪来的时时都一帆风顺？

为身边一个不满意的眼色又何必久久不能缓和情绪来。

既然人只能活一次，我就应该活得舒心，活得快乐。

工作繁忙，精神压力太大，争强好胜的心太强，

时间久了，我的精神和体力就快要崩溃了。

就快三十岁了，心理和体力已不比从前。

样样都要做到101分又有何用？

当然，随随便便也不行。

但是，只要尽力而为，对得起自己，

又何必拼着身家性命去追求更高的荣耀呢！

可能我需要学会知足，要学会活得舒心，活得快乐，活得潇洒。

可能我需要学会随遇而安，知足、随遇而安就是幸福。

可能我需要学会放下我伪装的那面坚强面具。

生活毕竟不是演戏，没有必要带着面具做人，

也无须戴上“面具去逢场作戏”！

想笑就笑，想唱就唱，想哭就哭，活得朴素自然，活得坦坦荡荡。

我自己有多大能量，能有多好的成绩，我也自知之明。

只要我这一生都脚踏实，即使创造不出什么辉煌成绩，

也能感受到生活的真实。

人生有许许多多的烦恼和忧愁！

惟有内心泰然、坦然，才能潇洒走一回。

快乐要懂得分享才能加倍快乐。

美好的生命应该充满期待惊喜和感激。

如果我有一棵平常心，就能获得一份好心情吗？

如果我做平常事，做个平凡人，就能保持平静的心态，

保持平衡的心理吗？

如果我能以这种最美好的心情来对待每一天，

我想应该是“在对的时机，会上你向往的目标”。

机会产生于你努力实现某个目标而奋斗、谋求的过程之中。

今天下午，大概两点左右，我妈收到一通绑票的电话。

事情是这样的。。。

两点左右，电话响。电话接通的时候，她听见有一个男孩的哭声。

他一面哭一面喊：“爸爸！救我！我快被打死了! ”。

然后电话就被一个男人抢过，他说：“你的儿子在我的手上”。

我妈告诉那个男人：“我没有儿子”。

他既然说：“你听到你的儿子在喊, 还不相信?就算不是儿子,

也是你的孙子”。

我妈开始有点不耐烦地说：“我没有儿子,也没有孙子!

我是一个老太婆, 没有亲人。

你们不要打那个小孩子打到他手软打错号码。

叫他慢慢的，清清楚楚地打对号码,找对老爸”。

唉！真的笑死人了！

认识我们的人都知道，我妈没有儿子，更没有孙子。

做骗子做到像他们这样还真的是很失败，太不转业了。

要骗人之前也没做好功课。我叫我妈去报警了。

朋友们，如果你的家人收到这类电话，请不要慌，

也不要完全的相信。

最好是拖延一下，想办法尽快联络上被“绑票”的亲人，

再看下一步该怎么做。

读着读着，还真的漫游道理的。

Going to this place for my CNY Huat Cai Lunch with my colleagues tomorrow.
Huat Cai Lunch is named by 1 of them.

This is my first time visiting it.
I think is a Thai-Chinese food place.

i had to put up a fierce battle to win.

Last wed night.. invasion started!

my throat is so dry and painful..

went to see my "general aka coy appointed doc" to seek help me win the fight..

after 1 hour's waiting time, he gave me strepsils-look-alike-candy..

went home feeling helpless

i lost the battle.. totally defeated..

body temp running high..

when sun is up, I went to see another "general aka family GP" to equip myself with better weapon to fight and win the battle..

whole day was in a drunkard state..

on fri.. went back to the same "general"

cause his weapons seems to work well but not effective enuff.

after consultation, he improved the dosage and change a new strategy

kinda fun, but tiring.. very very tired!

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.' The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else---the small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your children . Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented. The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend.'

my hubby bought 2 of these..

i dun know what is this called..

i named it "tiny plant in bottle"..

mine looked like the bottle in the centre (2nd picture)..

he told me that the plant inside the bottle will grow as time goes by

althought there is light, there is no water or air

i wonder how is it possible as the bottle is sealed

i saw some pictures from the net showing the plant out grow the bottle

and it had to be opened and transfer to a bigger pot

after reading the article.. i feel so disgusted and gross..
although i don't swim in singapore's beaches, it still freak me out..

NEA advised the public not to swim at Pasir Ris beach for a year as the water is not clean. They also reported in this article that the water there is not safe because it carries a high level of Enterococcus - a bacteria found in faeces.

It also mentioned that Sentosa's water us rated as "very good". I suppose it will be safe to swim there..

My thought: why will such bateria found in the water of Pasir Ris beach? somebody been shitting there? yikes!!

身為母親的，感到十分欣慰。常常拿著照片，跟我們講女兒有多麼聰

明、可愛。同事們問她：「從小照顧得這麼好，又這麼認真栽培，難不成

你想要她以後當女總統？」

她語重心長地說：「那倒不必，如果她真的很傑出，我希望她能夠獨立生

活,不要嫁。經營一個幸福的家庭多麼不容易，女主人和男主人雙

方要付出許多心血。有幾個男人願意這麼配合女人，營造一個幸

福家庭？如果，我的女兒很傑出，勢必沒有辦法被限制在一個傳統婚

姻的框架中，一旦結婚，丈夫又不是很上進、很能包容，注定會過得不

她倒是講中了兩個重點：

太多。

我個人倒是認為，她的講法裡有幾個突破性的觀念，值得男性朋友

深深思考：

第一、當你愛上一個女人時；是否能尊重她的想法及發展，並
且全力支持？
第二、迎娶一個心愛女人回來；是否能在事先安排好幫助她適
應新環境的準備？
第三、你的愛及你家人對你所愛的支持是否一致？

不論男性對上述問題的答案是什麼！

對一位優秀的女性來說：『擁有一位疼愛自己、永遠不會逼女兒

結婚的老妈，絕對比嫁一個不尊重女性的老公，要來得幸福得

多』

個人認為呢 -- 上述所言實在是字字珠璣啊 !!

我想這也是大部分的現代女性懼怕婚姻的原因吧 !不過,我相信,

只要彼此有心願意共同努力 ! 珍惜與經營.....幸福也不是那麼遙

Lesson One:

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?' The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.' So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson Two:

A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree,' sighed the turkey. 'But I haven't got the energy.' 'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. 'They're packed with nutrients.' The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Management Lesson: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson Three:

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Management Lesson: (1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy. (2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend. (3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

1 week after szechuan earthquake

it was a date where nobody can forget... 12 May 2008..

an earthquake hits Sichuan province in china.. measuring 7.9..

after 9 days after this tremor, the number of dead and missing has been rising day after day..

it was recorded that 74,000 dead, 247,000 injured and countless missing..

many lost their homes, their loved ones..

children turned orphans over night.. parents seeing their children dead..

doctors, nurses, volunteers, rescue team have been working day and night.. they had lost their homes, children, loved ones too..

but none given up hope..

many feared another earthquake, and decided to leave home and lived in the open field in tents..

i had been catching up on the news of this disaster almost everyday..

in the midst of all the bad news, there were miracles too..

rescue team found survivors after being trapped under the rubble for more 100 hours..

however, as time passes by... hopes to discover survivors diminish as minutes went by..

i clearly remember a boy, he said "shu shu.. wo yao ke-le" (translated "uncle, i wan coke") after being carried out by the rescue team... a simple wish given him determination to pull through..

being a singaporean, i cant help to feel lucky and fortunate to be shield from natural disasters.. (for now still shielded, may not be in many years later)

cannot imagine what will happen if such hits our homeland.. it is beyond my imagination..

friends around me had been complaining how bad life is.. but think about it..

compared to those who faced natural disaster anytime of their life.. what can be worse.. and yet, no matter what happen, many of them struggled to live on

we got to learn how to be positive.. be contented with life.. not to take peace and safety for granted..

let's pray for the survivors from this tremor strength to live on..

let's pray for orphans strength to move on..

let's pray for aids to reach the victims..

let's pray for dead to rest in peace..

ever since i left fjb, my working life has been smooth sailing

workload manageable, with the usual peak and non-peak period

slowly finding myself getting used to such pace..

i failed to get yishun flat at the first attempt.. sigh! my q no. is like slightly more than 2x the flat availability...if those selected applicants give up their chance, i will be ballot again for it.. meanwhile, i need to keep a lookout for others and hope june will have good news on yishun flat.. cannot understand why govt make it so difficult for ppl to buy a flat.. it is like wait, wait, wait, and more waiting.. not sure if by time time i hit 30yrs old, will i be able to secure a flat..

collecting my rom dress this sat! so excited to try on the dress.. wonder if i look good in it. :D

i need to attend a first month baby celebration this sunday.. cousin just had a new born baby.. we had never seen his wife yet.. quite curious to find out how is she like.. the only thing i hate abt relatives' gathering is the questioning of aunties and uncles.. it's complicated! only my 2 sisters can understand..

5th & 6th june is our birthdays.. ^_^

11th june make a trip down to registry to submit documents for verification..

13th june mani and pedicure in the evening.. ah ling better remember to book, if not i m gonna scream at her!

high turnover? nope! is for expansion purposes, so this is consider good

however, hiring managers take a long time to decide who they want to hire..

ended up by time i made the offer, candidates mostly had found a job..

and i had to conduct another round of interview.. sigh!

after 7 long months, i m finally "adopted".. my new boss, hr director, will be reporting on the 9th june.. yeah!! no more struggling alone anymore.. no more a lost child.. ^_^ i really hope he will be a nice guy, and takes care of me..

need to plan to travel to my south east asia offices in KL, Indonesia and Taiwan.. cannot tai-ji anymore.. business partner insist that i should drop by and take a look.. for those who know me well, taiwan is surely not a problem for me.. i am quite concern abt travelling to indonesia and KL.. i hope i can get my hr director to go with me, rather i travel alone.. i had never travelled alone for biz trips before..

had not been blogging for awhile
how are all my pals out there?

since i am in a blogging mood, i shall do some random updates

2 weeks go, i actually bumped into many old friends
this is quite unusual for me because i do not have many friends

on 19th, i bumped into yenling at jurong west while i am surveying that area's flat
she is my best pal back in poly time.. she was visiting her bro-in-law at that area..
i like the living env of jurong west.. it is super quiet compared to tampines
quiet to the extend that if you shout for help, nobody will know.. haha!
the only negative side is that area is very ulu and far!
it is like 10 mins car ride to tuas..
i think if i moved to jurong west, my mum and my sisters will die travelling..

on 20th, I saw Leah at causeway point.. i used to work with her to do filippion recruitment..

on 21st, I saw jianhui on my way to work.. he was my sec school mate.. was rushing to work, so did not stop to chat..

on 22nd, I bumped into sam byk at expo mrt station.. i was on my way to eastpoint for my kickbox class... he told me D.B. is crazy.. he had a big fight with him and quit his job.. haha! apparently, besides him, many others left "hell" as well..

on 23rd, I saw Daryl's mum at tanah merah mrt station... just a hi and bye..

on 27th, while shopping at TM, i saw CG and Ah Fen... chat with them for awhile only..

wonder who would i meet next... -_-"

i had just joined kickbox class at amore.. hehe! is fun and enjoyable.. had not worked out for a long long long long time.. maybe more than a decade.. thighs muscle aching after my first class.. tml will be my 2nd.. hehe!

Oh my god!! It’s March already. One quarter of the year going by soon.
Yikes! Time flies… Nothing interesting since the chinese new year.
Anyway, cny itself is not interesting. Basically is just eat, sleep, visit relatives, watch tv..
ang bao for this year not too bad, earn abit of money back.. but all ang bao money gone by now~

I am looking forward to these few upcoming events:

Annual Salary Adjustment: still waiting for Corporate to provide me with the adjustment listing. It should be in March if the list comes in on time. Wonder how much I will get. Most probably not much cause I joined only in Nov 2007.
Annual Incentive Payout: layman term means “variable bonus”… I am supposed to get 12.5% of my annual remuneration. But after pro-rating, it is just enough to buy peanuts. Till now no news or status on this yet. Hope that Corporate declares soon, so that I can get it in April. If not, I guess this year no variable bonus for all.
Nice dinner gathering with mama and ah wei on 03rd March 2008
Accompany Jennifer to chase idol (May Day) on 04th March 2008. Let me clarify this. I am not an idol-crazy-manic. I am just accompanying her. May Day is her “ou-xiang”. *whisper: I love zhou dong only.. kekekeke!*
6 days Taipei trip with Jennifer and dear: departs on 19th March. 16 more days to go. This is my 3rd time to Taipei.. First time to Taipei = 4D3N, 2nd time to Taipei = 5D4N… the trip gets longer each time. Hahaha!! Will there gonna be a 4th time?

Hi guys.. how are you?
have not been blogging for quite awhile..
i guess either i m getting lazy or nothing interesting about my life..

hmm.. where shall we start..

i changed job once again..
just to emphasis: i m not a job hopper
i m just too unhappy with my previous work place
not because of work load
not because of job scope
not because of my colleagues
not because of the long working hours
is because of the politics..
simply too tired of all these
i dun find meaning in my work if i need to find all sorts of ways to cover myself, sabo ppl, shoot email 90% of my work hours..
thanks for giving me this opportunity to sharpen my skills in handling politicians..
i believe what i learnt for the past 1 yr is enuff for me to survive elsewhere..

now my new job..
i gotten out of town area, now hiding in industrial area..
i m in changi south now, in manufacturing industry..
maybe due to the nature of the industry, the enviornment here is rather slow paced, quiet and ppl here are much simpler to handle..
ppl here are generally nice and helpful..
nobody will leave you alone to float or sink..
so far to date, i like what i m handling..
slow and steady still although i m all alone..
my boss has not been hired yet.. sigh!
price to pay for changing jobs: NO BONUS!

seriously speaking, i m 100% not used to this..

Friday & Saturday was helping out at the Raoul carpark sale

Went Xi'an for 4 days...
not for holidays, but for work purposes...

pollution at Xi'an is really horrible..
is like living in a blurry enviornment everyday...
hazy everyday... dust all over the place.. eek!

Food, weather, everything dun really suit me...
I dun like that place...
people there are nice and friendly...
they order alot of food...alot of drinks..
should see the way they drink alcohol..
they bottom up all glasses of rice wine and red wine...
first time see ppl fill red wine all the way to the top of the wine glass =_=
they drink like as if they are drinking water...
heng! i pretend that i cannot drink...
give all sorts of reasons: heart cannot take it lah... allergy lah...
hahahaha!

always been so eager to attend my graduation ceremony on the 30th Aug 07
but... today i called school to cancel my attendance for it...
feeling abit disappointed, but not sad at all
reason: nobody is attending it anyway, i am alone :x

why do i cancel it?
not because i find it troublesome me to go...
not because there is nobody to see me go stage take cert

I M GOING CHINA!

A guy phones up his Boss, but gets the bosses' wife instead. "I'm afraid he died last week." she explains.

The next day the man calls again and asks for the boss. "I told you" the wife replies, "he died last week."

super duper hot weather over there....
the amount of sweat i produced over the past few days...
is more than the amount of sweat i produced in singapore for the entire year...
dripping dripping non-stop...

ocean park is the worse...
sun here.. sun there.. sun everywhere..
no place to hide... eeek!
whole day q-ing up...
q for rides...
q for toilets...
q for drinks...
q for shows...
the best part is... q for CABLECAR!
wat a nightmare....
sigh!

end up.. no time to q for hot-air balloon...
no time to q for panda.... *cry*
at the end of the day, still need to Q for bus to go back...

i took photos with alot of stars..
jackie chan, andy lau, twins, leon lai..
brad pitt, hugh grant, ayumi hamasaki..
anita mui, leslie chung, etc
dead or alive...chinese, angmoh all have...
hahaha!

people there walk very very very fast...
even i cannot catch up.. i am not fast enough..
they dun haf the habit of saying "excuse me"..
if they r behind, and you are blocking their way..
they just push u aside and walk... =_="

the place where we stayed is so super crowded...
people everyday... day and night...
aiyoo... see the number of people at my hotel area...
is like a combination of 5 orchard roads... Scary!

food is very very very salty over there...
food i enjoyed most:
- wanton mee
- fried wanton
- dim sum
- roast duck

overall experience: hot! expensive! but still fun...

i still prefer taiwan... hahahaha!
girls! when r we going taiwan again ah...? *wink*

i told you my decision..
i did not know how to break this news to you...

however, i managed to tell you..
i told you this is a hard decision...
i thought through alot of factors before deciding this...
i know i had let you down...
i know i had done you wrong...
i hope u can understand...
i had decided to leave...
i explained why i had to leave...

u look shocked.. and i can understand why..
this is not a good time for me to leave..
we been through thick and thin..
and i m sad to go too...
u cried... i cried...

u tried to reason things out with me...
promised things will never be the same again...
and definitely will change and improve...

i calmed down and think through again...
it is waste to give up all that we had been through...
i guess is okay to give it another try...
i choose to believe u once again...

i am not too sure if this is the correct decision made..
i just hope u wont let me down again...
but for now... i decided to stay... ^_^

please prove me that i had made the right choice by staying by your side...
